Hug a Bunny

Sara Olsen worked as an Early Childhood Educator for 8 years, studying Child and Youth Care and Recreational Therapy at Niagara College (2019-2022). Sara acted as a community leader coordinating her local soup kitchen and collaborating with service providers to improve the wellbeing of local residents in Crystal Beach and Greater Fort Erie Niagara. Learning about recreational therapy and having fibromyalgia provided her knowledge on how to increase her wellbeing and quality of life. In December of 2020 Sara and her family moved from Crystal Beach Ontario to Margaret Manitoba. Understanding the value of flow in her life, Sara blended her beloved hobby with animal assisted therapy finding balance and overwhelming joy in the companionship of her little village of English Angora Rabbits. Sara’s vision is to support her communities through a unique blend of therapeutic bunny visits, entertainment, and education
